Chris Hitchcock

Chris Hitchcock is a USEA Level II certified Instructor - thru Preliminary + CCI. He specializes in training eventers and young horses. Using a calm, systematic, and patient approach, Chris has developed numerous confident and successful young horses from Beginner Novice up through CCI.

Chris is a successful upper level Event rider specializing in training competition horses and in developing young horses.

Chris has learned from some of the best in the business. He spent more than six years working with international four star level rider and coach, Michael Godfrey. Michael's students have gone on to represent the United States at the Olympic and the Pan Am Games. Chris has recently begun working with Australian rider, Phillip Dutton. Chris also participates regularly in clinics with such top instructors as Captain Mark Phillips, Jessica Ranshoussen, The O'Connors, Peter Gray, Bruce Davidson, and Ralph Hill.

Through hard work and intense study of the horse and its nature, Chris has developed an understanding of how to develop each horse to reach its fullest potential.
